Dona Ana County issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Doña Ana County Treasurer Eric L. Rodriguez has unveiled a new design for the next cycle of tax billing. New Tax Bill
Property owners will see the new bill beginning Nov. 1, 2019. According to Rodriguez, the layout still contains the same information, with some upgrades to include more payment options and directions on how residents can request a mailing address change. The bill also features a new interactive barcode that allows tellers to process payments much faster. A QR code is also included on the bill to enable smartphone users to make immediate payments or sign up for e-billing.
“Our new tax bill is not just ink on paper,” Rodriguez said. “It is a functional document that is on par with 21st century finance and accounting methods.”
Rodriguez said the new design was created following the award of a new printing contract with Adelante Development Center.
