Census Bureau: More men than women in La Cueva in 2017


Of the 137 people living in La Cueva in 2017, 35 percent (48) were women and 65 percent (89) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the New Mexico Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 39-to-38. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 10 females and 50 males.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau's American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
