Clovis - Curry County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 19.
Golf enthusiasts are invited to tee off with Leadership Clovis at the annual Leadership Clovis Golf Tournament held at Colonial Golf Course on Saturday, April 20th. Golfers not only have the chance to win a cash prize, but will also show their support for the current and future Leadership Clovis classes.
This Golf Tournament is an annual tradition organized by the Leadership Clovis class since 2002. Proceeds go to benefit and continue Leadership Clovis, an organization that brings emerging leaders together to participate in projects and interactions that result in a shared vision for Clovis and Curry County. There will be food, prizes and a raffle.
Day of registration will begin at 8:00 am with a shotgun start at 9:00 am. The cost for the 4-person scramble is $75 per person or $300 per team. Up to four mulligans can be purchased per person for $5 each. Golf Hole sponsorships are available for $100 until April 15th. Based on 30 teams, there will be $1,000 awarded to the first place team, $500 to the second place team, and $300 to the third place team. There will be two flights and the top three places in each flight will receive the prize money.
Deadline to register teams or to sponsor a hole is 4:30 p.m. on April 15th.
