Clovis - Curry County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.
The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Banquet will be held Friday, February 1st at the Clovis Civic Center. The theme of the banquet is “#ClovisSparkle”.
Tickets are only available until Friday, January 25h at 5:00 p.m.
The festivities will begin with a reception honoring the Chamber’s past presidents at 6:00 p.m. with dinner to be served at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are for sale for $50 each or $500 for a table of ten and are available at banquet.clovisrocks.com or at the chamber, 105 E. Grand Ave.
The highlight of the banquet will be the presentation of the Chamber’s annual awards that include the 2018 Citizen of the Year, 2018 Volunteer of the Year, 2018 Business of the Year, 2018 Ambassador of the Year, 2018 Heart Award, 2018 Cannon Community Partners and the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award. The 2018 Chamber President Gail Tarson of Diamonds Evermore will pass the gavel to Mr. Thom Moore of Farmers Electric Cooperative for the 2019 calendar year as we celebrate the past year and welcome 2019 with excitement.
To kick-off a yearlong celebration of Clovis’ recent designation of the 2019 Great American Defense Communities, Gen. Brad Webb, Commander of the Air Force Special Operations Command and Mr. Bill Parry, President of the Association of Defense Communities, will be guest speakers at the chamber banquet this year.
