Memorial Medical Center/Ceo issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.
Memorial has joined forces with Make a Wish of New Mexico to help grant a wish for a very special Las Cruces teen, Seriyah Borunda. Seriyah is 16 years old and has been battling multiple diagnoses since birth, including Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Seriyah is non-verbal and wheelchair-bound, and yet, she is full of personality. Seriyah loves animals, being the center of attention, and eating mashed potatoes and banana pudding! Her wish is to have an animal experience, especially to kiss a dolphin, at the San Diego Zoo shared with her family. Memorial is proudly raising money to fund this wish and we would love your help!

We will be serving her favorite foods, there will be a Mashed Potato Bar and Banana Pudding Station. All are invited – we will be taking donations at the door.
